Towards Net Zero
Building a Sovereign, Sustainable, and Scalable Digital Future
At ETIX, the path to net zero is not just a carbon metric, it’s part of our core strategy. It’s about rethinking digital infrastructure to serve the economy, the environment, and society with responsibility and resilience.
We don’t view data centers as static assets. They are dynamic technology hubs, embedded in local ecosystems, designed to power the transition to sovereign, carbon-conscious infrastructure in Europe and beyond.

Our ESG strategy is structured around three strategic pillars,
each rooted in action, not intention :
Reducing our environmental footprint
We integrate energy efficiency, renewable sourcing, and circular practices at every level. We build future-ready sites, optimize infrastructure in real-time, and invest where it counts.
Goal : Net zero (Scope 1 & 2) by 2030
→ Energy-efficient infrastructure
→ 100% renewable electricity through PPAs, GOs, RECs
→ Certified carbon offsetting with local projects
Promoting quality
of life at work
We believe performance starts with people. At ETIX, talent, inclusion, and engagement are at the core of our development. We create a workplace culture that’s human-centered, ethical, and anchored in shared values.
Commitment to :
→ Inclusive, ethical workplace culture
→ ISO-based ESG awareness training for all employees
→ Mobility, hybrid work, and quality-of-life initiatives
Creating
local Value
We are deeply rooted in the territories we serve.
Our data centers act as regional hubs : enabling local innovation, employment, and ecosystem collaboration.
We support :
→ Local supply chains and jobs
→ Digital transformation in SMEs and regional partners
→ Circular economy, biodiversity, and social projects on-site

• Energy efficiency, leveraging advanced cooling and monitoring to reduce consumption.
• Low-carbon operations, integrating renewable energy and optimizing resources.
• Ethical responsibility.
We Are Proud Members of :
Data center operators and professional associations are committed to the European Green Deal. They pledge to take ambitious measures to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions in line with climate legislation, with the aim of achieving climate neutrality in Europe by 2050. France Datacenter promotes the sector as a pillar of the digital economy to public authorities. Etix takes part in working groups aimed at promoting best practices and the sector’s performance. Infranum supports digital infrastructure development and the creation of new digital services. Etix participates in thematic committees to represent the sector’s common positions to institutions.
Etix supports this community of stakeholders to promote concrete initiatives that leverage artificial intelligence in service of our environmental goals.
Created in 2010, the Responsible Supplier Relations and Purchasing Charter (RFAR) aims to encourage companies and public/private organizations to adopt responsible practices with their suppliers. It is now overseen by the Business Mediator and the National Purchasing Council (CNA). Etix’s Responsible Purchasing Charter is aligned with RFAR expectations.
By signing this charter, we affirm our commitment to actively engage in a “Responsible Digital” approach.
A special initiative of the United Nations Secretary-General, the United Nations Global Compact is a call to companies around the world to align their operations and strategies with Ten Principles derived from key UN declarations in the areas of human rights, labor standards, environmental protection, and anti-corruption.
