We are excited to announce that Etix Everywhere (Etix), a leading data center colocation provider in Europe and Asia, has completed the acquisition of zColo France. This significant development represents an important milestone in our journey to provide a global network of edge data centers close to our valued customers.

With this acquisition, we strengthen our undisputed leading position in the regional data center market in France, now boasting 12 data centers across 5 different regions and continue our Edge strategy by bringing the IT services close to users, allowing them access to key peering points and major CSP/OTTs.

The five data centers of zColo France, which are located in Paris (three different assets), Montpellier, and Toulouse, offer an available capacity of 3.5 MW for 1,000 racks, scalable up to 5.4 MW and 1,500 racks (maximum IT capacity). In addition to our existing leadership position in the Northern and Western regions, these assets enhance our data centers network in France, thereby extending our geographical presence into three new regions. This acquisition also increases the maximum capacity of our portfolio to 17.3 MW.

The acquisition has been closed thanks to the support of Eurazeo through its Eurazeo Transition Infrastructure Fund (ETIF). ETIF became a key shareholder of Etix last February, alongside Global Data Centre Investment Fund (GDC – ASX), enabling us to accelerate our expansion strategy in Europe and Asia. With this acquisition, ETIF becomes the new majority shareholder of Etix, allowing the company to offer sovereign colocation services to its Clients in France.

The deal has been also financed through a “Sustainable Linked Bond” which highlights the quality of our assets and our commitment to offer our customers local and sustainable data center solutions.

Our primary goal is to make the transition with Databank as smooth as possible for you while enhancing the quality of service and support you receive.

Therefore, for the moment, you must continue to make your requests through the Databank portal that you are familiar with. We are working on the migration of all Databank tools to ours and we will keep you informed as soon as this operation is completed.
